Toyota Stencils and Safety Tips

Toyota Stencils and Safety Tips

It’s almost here, that spooky fall night in October when little ghosts and goblins come out of the shadows, ring your door bell and yell – “truck or treat”!
Ok, maybe not in those words exactly, but you never know, it could happen if you carve a Jack-O-Lantern this year that shows your neighbourhood just how much you love your Toyota truck. How could they not yell “truck or treat” then? But, just in case you’re more of a sedan sort of family, that’s great too. We have a Toyota stencil that’s perfect for you. Take a look and happy carving.

If you decide to go down this road, please make sure you snap a picture of your spooky creation and share it with us at Heffner Toyota. We’d be thrilled to help show it off to the world.
As for Halloween night, let’s make sure we take extra care that way we keep the scares to where they’re meant to be.
To help, here’s a couple safety tips for when you’re out driving on the 31st:
• Slow down, and try to avoid passing stopped vehicles. There’s always the chance the driver might be dropping off children.
• Keep your phone out of your hands while driving. If you need to call, text or surf the web, pull over first. It’s the law.
• Keep an eye out for wandering children who may dart out into the street. Kids can cross the road anywhere, and are usually quite distracted on Halloween night.
• Try to let young pedestrians go first. Children might not always stop where they should, either because they didn’t see your vehicle, they don’t know how to cross safely, or are distracted by all the trick or treating.
• Always use your turn signals so drivers and walkers know what you’re planning to do. And please use your hazard lights if you’re pulling over to drop off or pick up your kids.
Bottom line, let’s all do our part to be a little extra cautious so that this Halloween is fun and safe for everyone.
Happy Halloween from your family at Heffner Toyota!
